he KC Legends are very pleased to highlight the popular year round SUPERSKILLS AND SPIRIT Soccer Program. SUPERSKILLS AND SPIRIT is designed for the serious soccer player who desires the very best training in dribbling and shooting. SUPERSKILLS AND SPIRIT meets nearly 4 hours (3 practice sessions), per week for 15 hours per month. The mid-week practices are an hour and 15 minutes long and start off with 10 minutes of fun warm up soccer games followed by 50 minutes of foot skills to teach the most effective World Class soccer fakes and moves and shooting ability, followed by a fun soccer game or small-sided soccer scrimmage. The Saturday practice/game is an hour to 75 minutes long. This time is dedicated to 3 v 3 games between the Academy players in that age group. This is tremendous functional training and an ideal cap to each thorough, enjoyable week of skill development.

SUPERSKILLS AND SPIRIT is created and instructed by Coach Andy Barney and his fantastic staff. Coach Barney is the Director of Coaching for the Legends Soccer Club, Has coached 98 Legends graduating players under scholarship at Colleges in all regions of the U.S. and holds a USSF National "A" license. Andy has over 28 years experience coaching, developing and refining individual skills with players at all levels.

SUPERSKILLS AND SPIRIT is offered at 122 & Blue River Road in South Kansas City and Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe.

122^nd & Blue River Road - Take I-435 to Holmes Rd. Proceed south on Holmes To Red Bridge Road. Turn east (left) on Red Bridge to Blue River. Turn right on Blue River to 122nd. Fields are on the right hand side - approximately 2 miles from the intersection of Red Bridge and Blue River.

Mid America Nazarene University - Take I-35 North or South to Santa Fe - Main downtown Olathe exit. Go East on Santa Fe to the first stop light (Clairborne). Turn right (South) on Clairborne and drive about 1 mile to College Way. Take a left on College Way and drive to Lindenwood (4 way stop). Turn right on Lindenwood. The fields are a short distance down Lindenwood on both sides of the road. Please drive past the fields and park in the lot on the south side of the fields.

If you are coming from the East side of MNU on 135th or 151st Street. Take Murlen to 143rd St. You then take 143rd St West to Lindenwood and turn right (North) on Lindenwood until you see the four smaller blue goals on your right.

Players should bring their own ball (Under U8 size 3, U9 to U12 size 4, U13 and above size 5 - pumped to pressure) and wear shin guards and outdoor cleats (April – October) or flat soled shoes (November – March).

Enrollment is through Andy Barney and the cost is just $68 (Outdoor) and $79 (Indoor) for 15 hours (Outdoor) or 12 hours (Indoor) a month. Sign up is on a month-to-month basis. This program is open year round to all Kansas City area youth soccer players.
